Te Whatu Ora presents Spritely RPM at NZ Cardiology Conference

June 23, 2024

Spritely is supporting Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora in Hawkes Bay to enable telemonitoring for HF patients living rurally. Far from being disadvantaged by their location, these patients are now receiving care that is as good or better than HF patients living in urban areas. This new, digitally-enabled model of care was presented as a poster to the CSANZ conference in Christchurch by Cardiology Nurse Specialist Daman Kaur. Key outcomes:

  • Saves time for Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora cardiology staff
  • Makes rapid up-titration achievable
  • Helps to avoid hospital admissions
  • Minimises spend on travel cost
  • Eliminates cost of DNAs
  • Reduces pressure on clinic space
  • Improves quality of life for patients

Scaling up RPM programs that improve productivity for frontline staff like HF nurses can help to alleviate pressure on our workforce and grow capacity at our hospitals.
